About The Role

Essity Professional Hygiene is looking for an experienced Key Account Manager – Omni-Channel. The Key Account Manager is responsible for defining the E-commerce growth strategy and exceptional road map to drive sales, profit and share of search performance goals with prioritized multi-channel customers (i.e. Office, Jan-San, etc). This role will lead E-commerce activities in close alignment and partnership with local sales and customer marketing teams with the ultimate objective to deliver customer’s long/mid/short-term JBP plan. Establishing Essity’s Professional Hygiene business unit as an expert thought leader and performer in the evolving B2B E-commerce space; specifically strengthening our business and partnership with select Multi channel customers across prioritized markets.

The ideal candidate will live in Philadelphia, PA or near a major US international airport within the aligned Essity Regional structure and the ability to travel often.

What You Will Do

  • Cascades the overall E-commerce strategy into robust mid-/long-term customer plans that deliver on business objectives; considers customer’s omni channel requirements, market/competitive conditions, financial requirements, consumer trends and brand plans.

  • Partners with sales, marketing, E-com activation, customer service, operations and finance to support customers; ensures priorities and initiatives are aligned with BU/region strategies to drive profitable growth at the total account level (traditional + E-commerce business combined).

  • Consistently uses analytics tools (Power BI, Salsify, CRM, etc.) to guide and ensure execution of aligned activities to win across the 5 Ps in E-commerce: product assortment, promotion, placement (merchandising), pricing, and best-product-detail-page; initiates and leads corrective actions as needed; Leads and manages execution of all E-com product merchandising, promo, analytics, E-com forecasting, P&L management and launch initiatives for in-scope customers.

  • Implements channel development strategy (customer/portfolio expansion); identifies, evaluates and prioritizes new business opportunities leveraging CRM to continuously manage the pipeline.

  • Drives and secures contract negotiations including terms and conditions, product offers, merchandising packages and pricing in line with pre-set product and pricing strategies and guidelines.

  • Builds and nurtures long term relationships with strategic accounts across all levels in the organization while closely partnering with local sales team to ensure one-voice from Essity to the customer.

  • Provides input into annual planning process (OGSM, net sales, investments/spend plan and P&L) as well as monthly/quarterly forecasting activities.

  • Ensures E-commerce is incorporated into customer’s JBPs; negotiates customer pilots to jointly develop capabilities that deliver a competitive advantage for Tork. Secures learnings are implemented across relevant customers.

  • Serves as the internal Subject-Matter-Expert (SME) and evangelist of his/her E-commerce customers; educates all levels of the organization on mid/long term customer segment vision, goals and requirements; key initiator and contributor to best practice sharing, networks and projects across the organization.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor, University or Business School degree.

  • 3 - 5+ years of B2B and/or B2C E-commerce Account Management experience required.

  • Experience working in a Global/Transatlantic set up highly desired.

  • Experience overseeing and/or managing E-commerce operations highly preferred.

  • Strong business and financial acumen.

  • Excellent analytical skills.

  • Customer-focused; highly developed problem solving and customer service skills.

  • Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams and influence outcomes across different layers in the organization.

  • Well-developed online merchandising skills.

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills; multi-language candidates highly preferred (depending on region specific languages might be more applicable).

  • Strong bias for action and able to prioritize effectively in times of ambiguity.

  • Proven organizational agility.

  • Ability to travel up to 40%.
